If you are driving, start by entering the A1 highway from your location in Gooi. Follow the signs towards Amsterdam and then take the A27 towards Utrecht. Continue on the A27 and then take the exit for the A12 towards Arnhem/Nijmegen. After approximately 40 kilometers, take exit 25 toward Nijmegen. Merge onto the N325 and follow the signs for Nijmegen. Once in the city center, follow the signs for Burchtstraat. Het Oude Stadhuis will be located at Burchtstraat 20A, 6511 RD Nijmegen. Note that parking in the city center may incur costs, typically around €2.50 per hour, so be sure to check for parking meters or nearby parking garages.

To reach Het Oude Stadhuis using public transportation, head to your nearest train station in Gooi and take a train towards Nijmegen. Trains are frequent, and the journey typically takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Nijmegen railway station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take Bus Line 2 or 3 towards Nijmegen Centrum. Get off at the stop 'Nijmegen, Stadhuis.' From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Burchtstraat. Walk straight down the road until you reach Burchtstraat, and then turn left. Het Oude Stadhuis will be on your right at number 20A. A train ticket will cost around €10-€15, depending on your departure location.
