From Groningen Central Station, purchase a ticket to Assen (make sure to check the schedule). Once you board the train, it will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Assen. Once you arrive at Assen Station, exit the station and head towards the main road.

After exiting Assen Station, turn left and walk straight down Stationsstraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Brink. Turn right onto Brink, and the Drents Museum will be located at Brink 1, just a short walk ahead on your left.

Bus
From Groningen Central Station, you can also take a bus to Assen. Look for buses heading towards Assen and check the schedule for the next departure. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. After arriving at Assen bus station, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above: turn left onto Stationsstraat, continue to Brink, then turn right and walk to Drents Museum.
