From Haarlem, head to Haarlem Station (Haarlem Centraal). Take a train towards Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Sloterdijk, transfer to the train towards Amsterdam Centraal. After a few minutes, you will reach Amsterdam Centraal Station. From there, exit the station and walk to the bus terminal outside the station. Take bus line 35 towards Amsterdam-Noord. Get off at the stop called 'Buiksloterweg'. From there, you can take the free ferry across the IJ river to Overhoeksplein. A'DAM Lookout is a short walk from the ferry terminal.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Head towards the North via the Haarlemmerweg (N200) which takes you directly to Amsterdam. Follow the signs for Amsterdam-Noord.
