Walking
From Haarlem Central Station, exit the station and head towards the bus station. Take Bus 50 towards Amsterdam Sloterdijk and get off at the stop 'Amsterdam, Centraal Station'. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Centraal Station, exit the station and walk towards the IJ river. You will see a large square and the ferry terminal. Take the free ferry (Buiksloterweg) across the river to Amsterdam-Noord. After disembarking, walk straight for about 10 minutes along the waterfront until you reach IJpromenade 1, where the Eye Filmmuseum is located. Follow the signs for the museum.

From Haarlem Central Station, take the NS train towards Amsterdam Central Station. This train runs frequently and takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the ferry terminal located at the front. Take the free Buiksloterweg ferry that departs regularly. After a short ride across the IJ river, disembark and walk straight for approximately 10 minutes to reach the Eye Filmmuseum at IJpromenade 1.
