Walking
From the city center of Haarlem, head towards the main train station, Haarlem Station. Exit the station and walk straight along the 'Zijlweg' street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 'Kruisweg'. Here, turn right and follow 'Kruisweg' until you reach the 'Nassaukade'. Cross the 'Nassaukade' and continue straight on 'Schalkwijkerstraat'. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Haarlem's bus station. From the bus station, you can take a bus to Amsterdam. Buses to Amsterdam leave frequently, and the ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Amsterdam, head to 'Spuistraat'. The Free Walking Tour is located at Spuistraat 68 F, a short walk from the bus stop.
Public Transport
From Haarlem Central Station, purchase a train ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. The train journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the front of the station. You will see the large square in front of you. From here, take tram number 2 or 12 from the tram stop located to the right of the station (near the taxi stands). Ride the tram for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Spui' stop. From the tram stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to Spuistraat 68 F where the Free Walking Tour is located.
