Walking
If you're in the heart of Haarlem, head towards the main train station, Haarlem Centraal. From there, exit the station and walk straight down the main road, Zijlweg, for about 15 minutes until you reach the Zijlpoort. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Gracht. Turn left onto the Nieuwe Gracht and follow it until you reach the main square, Grote Markt. From Grote Markt, you can catch a train to Utrecht, or you can continue walking to the bus station nearby.

From Haarlem Centraal station, purchase a ticket to Utrecht. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After boarding, make sure to check the train's destination. Get off at Utrecht Centraal station, and you will be in the city center. From there, follow the signs to Mariaplaats, which is just a short 10-minute walk away.

From the bus station near the Grote Markt in Haarlem, take bus line 50 towards Utrecht. The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to listen for the announcements or look at the display for your stop. Once you arrive at Utrecht, disembark at the 'Mariaplaats' stop, which is very close to your destination.
