Walking
From Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem CS), exit the station and head south on Stationsplein toward the city center. Walk straight for about 700 meters, passing through the picturesque city streets adorned with historic buildings. At the end of the street, you will reach the Grote Markt, the main square of Haarlem. From here, take the bus to Amsterdam. You can catch bus line 300 to Amsterdam, which will take you directly to Amsterdam Amstel. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Amstel, follow the signs to Amstel station and then take tram line 4 towards the direction of the 'Zuid'. Get off at the stop 'Waterlooplein'. From Waterlooplein, it’s a short walk to Amstel 3, where the National Opera & Ballet is located.

From Haarlem, go to Haarlem CS and take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station. This journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and head to the tram platform. Take tram line 9 towards Diemen Sniep. Get off at 'Muntplein' and transfer to tram line 4 towards the direction of 'Zuid'. Get off at 'Waterlooplein'. From there, walk east towards Amstel 3, which is just a few minutes away, where the National Opera & Ballet is located.
