    From Haarlem city center, head towards the Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). Once you reach the station, take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Upon arrival at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station and walk straight ahead towards the main street (Damrak). Continue walking along the Damrak until you reach Dam Square. From there, you can see the Royal Palace Amsterdam (Koninklijk Paleis) ahead on the left side at Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 147. The palace is easily recognizable by its grand architecture.

    Start at Haarlem's main bus station (Haarlem Busstation). Take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Amsterdam Centraal'.
