Walking
From the central square, Grote Markt, head south on the Klokhuisstraat. Continue straight until you reach the crossroad at the Spaarne river. Turn left onto Spaarne and follow it until you reach the first major intersection. Turn right onto Gierstraat and continue until you reach the traffic circle. Go straight through the circle, and you’ll be on the Zijlweg. Keep walking until you see the sign for the train station. Once you reach the Haarlem train station, you can take a train to Amsterdam, which takes about 15 minutes.
Train
After walking to Haarlem train station, purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Central Station. Trains run frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head south towards the main square, Dam Square. From there, walk to Rokin street and then turn left onto Reguliersdwarsstraat. Continue walking straight, and you will find SOHO Amsterdam at number 36.
Bus
From the central square, Grote Markt, walk to the nearest bus stop at Zijlpoort. Take bus line 300 towards Amsterdam. Get off at the stop called 'Amstel'. From there, you can either walk or take tram line 12 to the stop 'Rembrandtplein'. After getting off, walk to the nearby Reguliersdwarsstraat, and you will find SOHO Amsterdam at number 36.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Head towards the Haarlem train station and take the bike lane that leads to Amsterdam. The route is approximately 20 km and takes about 1 hour. Follow the signs for the bike path leading to Amsterdam. Once you reach the city, make your way to Reguliersdwarsstraat and locate SOHO Amsterdam at number 36.
