Walking
Start at the Haarlem train station (Haarlem Centraal). Exit the station and head towards the main road, Zijlweg. Turn left onto Zijlweg and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the large roundabout. Cross the roundabout and take the bus or train to Amsterdam. Take the train to Amsterdam Zuid station, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Zuid, follow the signs for the exit to the Zuidplein. From there, walk straight ahead onto the Gustav Mahlerlaan. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the van der Boechorstraat. Turn right onto van der Boechorstraat and walk straight until you reach the Concertgebouw, which is located on your left at Concertgebouwplein 10.
Public Transport
From Haarlem, make your way to Haarlem Centraal train station. Purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Zuid station. The trains run frequently, so you should not have to wait long. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride to Amsterdam, which will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Zuid, exit the station and follow the signs for the Zuidplein. Walk straight along Gustav Mahlerlaan, take a right on van der Boechorstraat, and you'll find the Concertgebouw at Concertgebouwplein 10 on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Start from the city center and follow the bike path towards Amsterdam. The route takes you through beautiful landscapes and will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Make your way to the Amsterdam Zuid area, and once you reach the vicinity of the Concertgebouw, park your bicycle at a designated bike rack. The Concertgebouw is located at Concertgebouwplein 10, which is easily accessible by foot from the bike parking areas.
