If you are in the center of Haarlem, start by heading southeast towards the Haarlem railway station (Haarlem Centraal). From the station, take the train to Utrecht. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal Station, exit the station and head east towards Maliebaan. Continue straight for about 700 meters until you reach Maliebaanstation. The Railway Museum is located at Maliebaanstation 16, which is on the right side of the road.

Rent a bicycle in Haarlem and head east towards the train station. Follow the bike paths to Haarlem Centraal. Once at the station, take a train to Utrecht, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Utrecht Centraal, bike east along Maliebaan. The Railway Museum is located at Maliebaanstation 16, just 1.5 km from the station. There are bike racks available at the museum.

From any central location in Haarlem, make your way to Haarlem Centraal Station. Purchase a train ticket to Utrecht Centraal Station. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Centraal, follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take bus number 2 towards 'Utrecht Maliebaan' and disembark at the 'Maliebaan' stop. The Railway Museum is a short walk from the bus stop at Maliebaanstation 16.
