    Walking

    If you are in the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt. From the Grote Markt, head west on the Gierstraat until you reach the Zijlstraat. Turn left onto Zijlstraat and continue walking until you reach the Zijlpoort. Cross the Zijlpoort and proceed onto the Zijlweg, which will lead you to the Haarlem train station. From the station, take a train to Amsterdam. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and walk towards the water. Head southwest along the Damrak, then turn right onto the Rokin. Continue straight until you reach the Spui, and then turn left onto the Prinsengracht. Walk down Prinsengracht for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Westerkerk at number 279 on your left.

    From Haarlem, make your way to Haarlem train station. Once there, take a train towards Amsterdam Centraal Station. The trip takes around 15-20 minutes. After arriving at Amsterdam Centraal Station, you can take tram line 13 or 17 from the station towards the Westermarkt. Get off at the Westermarkt stop, and from there, walk along the Prinsengracht canal for about 5 minutes. The Westerkerk will be located at Prinsengracht 279 on your right.
