Train
From Haarlem Central Station, take a train towards Uitgeest. This train runs frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at Zaandam Station. Once you arrive at Zaandam Station, follow the signs to the exit.
Walking
After exiting Zaandam Station, turn left and walk towards the bus stop at the front of the station. From there, you can take bus line 391, which goes directly to Zaanse Schans. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Zaanse Schans stop.
Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Haarlem. Head towards the train station and follow the signs to the bike path. The route to Zaanse Schans is approximately 10 km and takes about 30-40 minutes. Follow the signs for the Zaan river, and you will reach Zaanse Schans.
