If you are starting from Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem Centraal), exit the station and turn right onto the Jan Gijzenkade. Continue walking straight until you reach the T-split at the intersection with the Zijlweg. Here, turn left onto Zijlweg. Follow Zijlweg until you reach the first roundabout, then take the second exit onto the Vijfhoek. Walk straight until you come to a set of traffic lights. Cross the intersection onto the Gedempte Oude Gracht, and follow this street until you reach the Spaarne River. Turn right and walk along the river until you reach the next bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight. You will soon arrive at Vrouwestraat, where Bakenesserkerk is located at number 12 on your left.
