From Haarlem Central Station, take the train towards Uitgeest. Trains to Uitgeest leave frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Get off at Santpoort Noord station. Once you arrive at Santpoort Noord, exit the station and head south on Velserenderlaan. Brederode Castle is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station; follow the road straight until you see the castle ahead.

From Haarlem Central Station, take bus number 73 towards Santpoort-Zuid. The bus ride takes around 20 minutes. Get off at the Velserenderlaan stop. From the bus stop, walk a few minutes down Velserenderlaan, and you will reach Brederode Castle, which will be visible from the road.

If you're in the city center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt. Head east on Gierstraat until you reach the Teylers Museum. Continue straight to the Spaarne river and cross the bridge. Follow the path along the river until you reach the junction with the Velserenderlaan. Turn left onto Velserenderlaan and walk straight for about 30 minutes. Brederode Castle will be on your right.
