Walking
If you are in the center of Haarlem, start at the Grote Markt, which is the main square. Head southeast on the Geldersestraat towards the Zijlstraat. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Spaarne river. Turn left onto the Spaarne and follow it until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto the Lange Herenstraat. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the train station, Haarlem Centraal. From there, take a train to Gouda (approximately 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Gouda station, exit the station and head southeast on the Stationsplein. Continue straight onto the Hoge Gouwe street for about 15 minutes. De Gouwekerk will be on your left at Hoge Gouwe 41.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. Start from the city center at the Grote Markt and head south on the Zijlstraat. Continue straight, and follow the bike path along the Spaarne river. After about 7 km, you will arrive at Gouda. Once in Gouda, continue onto Hoge Gouwe street. De Gouwekerk will be located at Hoge Gouwe 41, on your right side.
Public Transport
From Haarlem, make your way to Haarlem Centraal Station. You can walk there in about 15 minutes from the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Gouda at the ticket machine or service desk. Board the train heading to Gouda, which departs every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Gouda station, exit the station and walk southeast on Stationsplein. Continue onto Hoge Gouwe street for about 15 minutes, and you will find De Gouwekerk on your left at Hoge Gouwe 41.
