    Getting There

    Walking

    Starting from the central square, Grote Markt, head southeast towards the Spaarne River. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the bridge, called the 'Groene Hontbrug'. Cross the bridge and continue straight ahead on the Bakenessergracht. At the first intersection, turn left onto the Nieuwe Gracht. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find Huis Barnaart on your left at Nieuwe Gracht 7.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From Haarlem Central Station, take bus line 50 or 300 towards the direction of 'Haarlem, Gierstraat'. Get off at the 'Haarlem, Gierstraat' stop. From there, walk down the Gierstraat until you reach the Spaarne River. Turn right and follow the river until you get to the Groene Hontbrug bridge. Cross the bridge, then continue straight to Nieuwe Gracht. Turn left on Nieuwe Gracht, and Huis Barnaart will be on your left at number 7.

    Cycling

    If you have a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Spaarne River. Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops if you don’t have one. Cycle along the river until you reach Groene Hontbrug. Cross the bridge, then keep cycling straight on Bakenessergracht. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Nieuwe Gracht. Continue cycling for about 10 minutes, and Huis Barnaart will be on your left at Nieuwe Gracht 7.
