Sailing Through History: Rondvaarten Haarlem

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem CS), exit the station and turn left onto the Stationsplein. Continue straight until you reach the first intersection, then turn right onto the Zijlweg. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Zijlpoort, an old city gate. Continue walking straight through the gate into the city center. You'll find yourself on the Zijlstraat. Stay on this path until you reach the Grote Markt, a large square surrounded by beautiful historical buildings. From the Grote Markt, head towards the Bakenessergracht, then turn left onto the Nieuwe Gracht. Follow Nieuwe Gracht for about 5 minutes and you will reach Rondvaarten Haarlem located at Nieuwe Gracht 3.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Haarlem's central train station (Haarlem CS), you can take bus line 50 towards 'Amstelveen, Busstation' or line 70 towards 'Heemstede, Raadhuisstraat'. Get off at the 'Haarlem, Verlaat' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk back towards the intersection and turn left onto the Nieuwe Gracht. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you'll arrive at Rondvaarten Haarlem at Nieuwe Gracht 3.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Haarlem. From the city center, head south towards the Spaarne River. Follow the riverbank until you reach the bridge at the Nieuwe Gracht. Cross the bridge, and you'll find Rondvaarten Haarlem on your left at Nieuwe Gracht 3. The ride should take around 10 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the waterway.
