If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Heemskerk. Head west on Heemskerkseweg (N203) and continue for about 2 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Genieweg. The Air War Museum Fort Veldhuis will be on your right at Genieweg 1, 1967 PS Heemskerk. There is parking available on site.

To reach the Air War Museum Fort Veldhuis using public transportation, first take a train to Heemskerk station. From Amsterdam, this can be done via a direct train to Beverwijk and then transferring to a local train or bus to Heemskerk. Once you arrive at Heemskerk station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop. Take bus line 74 towards 'Heemskerk, Genieweg'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes, and you will get off at the stop 'Genieweg'. From there, it's just a short walk to the museum, which will be on your left at Genieweg 1.

For those opting to bike, Heemskerk has several bike paths. From the center of Heemskerk, head towards the west on Heemskerkseweg (N203). After about 2 km, turn onto Genieweg. The museum will be on your right. There are bike racks available at the museum for secure parking.
