Breathtaking Views at Keukenhof Windmill

Getting There

• Walking

  From the central area of Keukenhof Gardens, head towards the main exit. As you exit the gardens, look for signs directing you to the Keukenhof Windmill. It is approximately a 15-minute walk (1.2 km). Continue straight along the path, and you will see the windmill in the distance. Follow the pathway which leads past the parking area until you reach the windmill at 2161 AM Lisse.

• Biking

  If you have rented a bike in Keukenhof Gardens, you can cycle to the Keukenhof Windmill. Exit the gardens and turn left onto the bike path. Follow the bike path along the edge of the gardens, and you will reach the windmill in about 5 minutes. Biking is a great way to enjoy the surrounding tulip fields along the way.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  For those preferring public transport, you can take a local bus from the Keukenhof Gardens to Lisse. Check the bus schedules at the visitor center. Buses usually run every 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Lisse bus stop, it is about a 10-minute walk to the Keukenhof Windmill. Head east on the main street until you see the windmill.
