Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Kinderdijk. Head southeast on the N214 towards the A15 motorway. Merge onto the A15 towards Rotterdam. After about 15 km, take the exit towards the N11 towards Leiden. Continue on the N11 for about 20 km until you reach the city of Leiden. Once in Leiden, follow the signs to the city center. As you approach the Vismarkt, you can find parking options nearby or look for street parking. The Visfontein is located at Vismarkt 66, right in the heart of the city.
Public Transportation
To get to Visfontein via public transportation from Kinderdijk, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 154 or 160 towards Rotterdam and get off at the Rotterdam Alexander station. From there, transfer to a train heading to Leiden. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Leiden station, exit and walk towards the bus stop in front of the station. Take bus line 6 or 9 towards the city center and get off at the Vismarkt stop. From there, it’s just a short walk to Vismarkt 66, where you will find the Visfontein.
