Start at Leiden Centraal Station. Purchase a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Trains to Amsterdam run frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal Station, exit the station and head towards the IJ river. From there, follow the signs to the tram stop.

At the tram stop outside Amsterdam Centraal Station, board tram line 13 or 17. If you take tram line 13, get off at the Westermarkt stop. If you take line 17, get off at the Amsterdam, Westermarkt stop. The Anne Frank House is just a short walk from either stop, located at Westermarkt 20.

If you decide to walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station to the Anne Frank House, exit the station and head west towards the Damstraat. Continue straight until you reach the Dam Square. From Dam Square, turn left onto the Raadhuisstraat. Follow this street as it curves to the right, and it will lead you to the Westermarkt. The Anne Frank House will be on your left at Westermarkt 20.
