Start at the Leiden Central Station. Exit the station and head towards the main square (Stationsplein). From the square, walk straight to the bus stop and take bus number 43 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Amsterdam, IJpromenade'. From the bus stop, walk towards the IJpromenade street, and you will see the Eye Filmmuseum directly ahead.

Begin your journey at Leiden Central Station. Board a train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and head towards the waterfront. Look for the free ferry service (Ferry 901) that departs from the back of the station towards Amsterdam-Noord. Take the ferry and enjoy the short ride across the IJ river. Once you disembark at the IJpromenade stop, you will find the Eye Filmmuseum just a short walk from the ferry landing.
