From the central train station of Leiden (Leiden Centraal), exit the station and head southwest toward the main road, Stationsweg. Turn left onto Stationsweg and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Haarlemmerstraat. Turn right onto Haarlemmerstraat and walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep walking until you reach the end of Haarlemmerstraat, where it intersects with the canal. Haarlemmerdijk is a notable street that runs parallel to this area, and you will be able to see its entrance on your left.

Start at the Leiden Centraal train station. Take bus line 43 in the direction of Amsterdam. Get off at the stop 'Amsterdam, Haarlemmerdijk' which is the nearest stop to Haarlemmerdijk.
