From the center of Leiden, head towards the Leiden Central Station. Once you reach the station, take the train towards Gouda. The train journey will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at Gouda train station, exit and turn left onto Burgemeester Jamessingel. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, and take the first exit onto Oosthaven. Follow Oosthaven for about 10 minutes, and you will see Museum Gouda located at Oosthaven 9 on your left.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Leiden. Start at the city center and head towards the biking path that leads to Gouda. The most direct route is to follow the N206 road towards the south. It’s about a 14 km ride, taking around 45 minutes. Upon entering Gouda, continue on the main road until you reach the city center. Follow the signs to Oosthaven, and you'll find Museum Gouda at Oosthaven 9.
Bus
From Leiden city center, locate the nearest bus stop and catch bus line 182 towards Gouda. This bus will take you directly to Gouda within approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Gouda, walk towards the city center along Burgemeester Jamessingel, then proceed to Oosthaven. Museum Gouda is located at Oosthaven 9.
