If you are starting from the center of Leiden, head towards the main train station, Leiden Centraal. From the station, exit onto Stationsweg and turn left. Continue straight until you reach the large intersection at the end. Cross the intersection into the Vrouwensteeg, and follow it until you reach the large square, Stadhuisplein. This will take you around 20-25 minutes of walking.
Public Transport
From Leiden, take a train from Leiden Centraal to Zaandam. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Zaandam station, exit the station and head straight towards the main street, Stationsweg. Follow this road for about 10 minutes until you reach Stadhuisplein (1506 CK Zaandam).
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle in Leiden, start at the city center and head towards the south on the Breestraat. Continue onto the Lammenschansweg and follow the signs towards Zaandam. The route is approximately 10 km and will take around 30-40 minutes. You will arrive at Stadhuisplein where you can park your bike.
