From the center of Leiden, walk to the bus stop 'Leiden, Beestenmarkt'. Take bus line 40 towards Gouda, which departs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach 'Gouda, Station'. Once you arrive at Gouda Station, exit the bus and walk towards the exit of the station. From there, walk straight ahead on Stationsplein for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Spoorstraat. Turn left onto Spoorstraat and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Punt 17. You will see 't Slot on your right.

From Leiden Centraal Station, take a train to Gouda. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Gouda Station, exit the station and walk straight ahead on Stationsplein for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Spoorstraat. Turn left onto Spoorstraat and continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Punt 17. 't Slot will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Leiden. Head towards the bike rental shop (such as 'Fietsenwinkel' near the station) and rent a bike. From the center of Leiden, cycle towards the N206 road and follow the signs to Gouda. The bike route is well marked and will take you through scenic areas. The distance is approximately 18 kilometers and should take about 1 hour. Once you reach Gouda, follow the signs to the town center, and then navigate to Punt 17 where 't Slot is located.
