We didn’t have plans but had a short time in Leiden and this self guided tour was a perfect introduction. We didn’t have plans and did it on bikes and it took us to all the “must see” places and gave us context and history on their importance. We rode through some of the loveliest parts of the city where we stopped for lunch and could have easily explored more. A really cost effective, personalized was to access an unfamiliar city. We left feeling lucky to have stumbled on this fun, informative tour.

Nice nature walk with a local

Highly recommend this tour for nature and animal lovers. PJ is local to the area and provided some great background on the polders. He even brought a light breakfast to enjoy on our walk. Broekdijkmolen and the children's farm (which is surprisingly large, basically a zoo) were highlights.

What a wonderful family run establishment. We enjoyed our entire visit. The tour was given by the third generation proprietor who was extremely friendly and such a good ambassador. We had a coffee before the tour and a freshly made pizza from the onsite food truck after the tour. We learned so much about dahlias and the time and effort it takes to operate the farm. Over 600 different types of dahlias made for some fantastic pictures.
