Walking
If you are in the center of Leiden, walk towards the train station (Leiden Centraal). Head southeast on Stationsweg, then turn right onto Breestraat. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Haarlemmerstraat. Turn left onto Haarlemmerstraat and follow it until you reach the market square, Markt. From there, you can take a train to Rotterdam Centraal, which is a direct route.
Bus
From Leiden, you can take bus line 31 or 39 from the bus stop 'Leiden, Centraal Station'. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary. The bus will take you directly to Rotterdam. Once you arrive at the bus station in Rotterdam, follow the signs to the metro station and take the metro to Beurs station. From there, it’s a short walk to Grotekerkplein.
Train
To reach Rotterdam from Leiden by train, head to Leiden Centraal train station. Purchase a ticket to Rotterdam Centraal. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Rotterdam Centraal, exit the station and follow the signs to the metro. Take metro line D towards the direction of De Akkers and get off at Beurs station. From Beurs, exit the station and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Grotekerkplein.
