Getting There

  • Walking

If you are in the city center of Leiden, start at the main train station (Leiden Centraal). Head south on Stationsweg and continue onto Breestraat. Keep walking straight until you reach the end of Breestraat, where it intersects with the historic canal area. From there, turn left onto the canal path and follow the waterway until you reach the intersection with the Nieuwe Rijn. Cross the bridge to the other side, and continue walking straight. After some time, you will come to a large square called the Stadhuisplein. From the square, head towards the main road, then take a right onto Papengracht. Follow Papengracht until it merges into the larger road leading out of Leiden. You will then need to take a bus or tram to The Hague.

  • Public Transportation

From Leiden Centraal, take the intercity train towards The Hague (Den Haag). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Den Haag Centraal Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located just outside. Take tram line 1 or tram line 17 towards 'Noorderstrand' or 'Kijkduin'. Get off at the 'Lange Voorhout' stop, which is a short walk from the Monastery Church. After exiting the tram, walk straight ahead on Lange Voorhout, and you will see the church on your left at Lange Voorhout 4.
