From the city center of Maastricht, head to the bus stop at 'Markt'. Take bus line 10 towards 'Hasselt' and stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Hasselt' bus station. From the bus station, walk towards Gouverneur Verwilghensingel (about 15 minutes) by heading northeast on Lombaardstraat, then turn right onto Gouverneur Verwilghensingel. The Japanese Garden will be on your left at number 15.

Start at Maastricht Train Station. Take a train towards 'Hasselt' (make sure to check the schedule as the frequency may vary). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hasselt Train Station, exit the station and walk towards the bus stop. Take bus line 1 or 2 towards 'Hasselt Centrum' and get off at the 'Gouverneur Verwilghensingel' stop. The Japanese Garden will be a short walk away, just a few minutes down the street at number 15.
