Tram
From Rotterdam Central Station, take tram line 21 towards 'Bovenstraat'. Ride for about 25 minutes until you reach the 'Maliebaan' stop. Once you get off the tram, walk towards the Maliebaanstation, which is just a short 5-minute walk straight ahead. The Railway Museum will be on your left at Maliebaanstation 16.
Train
At Rotterdam Central Station, take an Intercity train towards Utrecht Central Station. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Utrecht Central Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take bus line 3 towards 'Marnixlaan'. Get off at 'Maliebaanstation', which is a 5-minute ride. The Railway Museum will be right next to the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Rotterdam. Head towards the south on the 'Coolsingel', then follow the signs to the 'Rotterdamseweg' towards Utrecht. The total distance is about 60 kilometers and will take approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Utrecht, follow the signs to Maliebaanstation where the Railway Museum is located.
Bus
From Rotterdam Central Station, take bus line 90 towards Utrecht. This direct bus takes about 1 hour to reach Utrecht. Once you arrive at the Utrecht bus station, transfer to bus line 3 towards 'Marnixlaan' and get off at 'Maliebaanstation'. The Railway Museum will be a short walk from the bus stop.
