Walking
If you are in Kop van Zuid, the Erasmusbrug is easily accessible by foot. Start by heading towards the waterfront along the Wilhelminakade. You'll be walking towards the north-east, keeping the river Maas on your left. The Erasmusbrug will be visible ahead of you, rising gracefully over the water. It's about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your starting point in Kop van Zuid.
Public Transport - Tram
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch a tram from the nearest tram stop, which is 'Wilhelminaplein'. Board tram line 20 or 23 heading towards 'Centraal Station'. After one stop, get off at 'Erasmusbrug' stop. From here, it's just a short walk across the bridge to reach the Erasmusbrug. Note that a single ticket on the tram costs around €3.20.
Public Transport - Water Taxi
Another scenic option is to take a water taxi. Locate the nearest water taxi stop along the river Maas, such as 'Kop van Zuid' or 'Wilhelminakade'. You can purchase a ticket from the water taxi booth or directly from the driver, with prices varying based on distance but expect around €5-€10 for a short ride to Erasmusbrug. Enjoy a unique view of the city from the water!
