If you are at Scheveningen Beach and want to reach Standbeeld Van der Werff, take tram line 9 from the 'Kurhaus' tram stop towards 'Laan van NOI'. You will ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Centraal Station' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 31 towards 'Leiden'. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the 'Kruitschip' stop, which is a short walk from the sculpture.

To drive to Standbeeld Van der Werff from Scheveningen Beach, head southwest on the 'Gevers Deynootweg' toward 'Zwarte Pad'. Follow this road as it becomes 'Havenweg', then merge onto 'A44' toward 'Leiden'. Take exit 8 for 'Leiden-Centrum' and continue on 'Kruisstraat' until you reach 'Kruitschip'. There is street parking available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees which may apply.

If you are already near the beach, you can also walk to Standbeeld Van der Werff. Start at the beach promenade and head towards 'Kruisstraat'. This walk will take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. You will pass through some charming areas of Scheveningen and into the city center of Leiden, providing scenic views along the way.
