Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Statenkwartier, start by heading north on the Van Alkemadelaan towards the center of The Hague. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Laan van Meerdervoort. Turn left onto the Laan van Meerdervoort and then take the first right onto the Noordeinde. Follow Noordeinde until you reach the intersection with the Hofweg. Turn left onto Hofweg and continue straight until you reach Plein. Mauritshuis will be on your left at Plein 29.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    From Statenkwartier, you can take tram line 17 from the Statenlaan tram stop. Board the tram heading towards 'Delft' and travel for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Plein' stop. Once you exit the tram, Mauritshuis will be directly in front of you at Plein 29.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental stations in Statenkwartier. Head north on the Van Alkemadelaan then take a right onto the Laan van Meerdervoort. Continue straight and turn left when you reach the Noordeinde. Follow the same route as by walking, and you will arrive at Mauritshuis at Plein 29 in about 15-20 minutes.
