Train
From Utrecht Central Station, take the Intercity train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head towards the main exit. From there, you can either walk or take public transport to your final destination.
Tram
After arriving at Amsterdam Central Station, you can take tram line 4 or 14 towards 'Buikslotermeer' or 'Zuid' respectively. Get off at the 'Rembrandtplein' stop. From Rembrandtplein, walk southeast on Amstelstraat towards the Amstel River, and then turn left onto Amstel. The Amsterdam Museum will be on your left at Amstel 51.
Bus
From Amsterdam Central Station, take bus number 48 towards 'Zuidas'. Get off at the 'Muntplein' stop. From Muntplein, walk east along the Amstel River. Continue straight until you reach Amstel 51, where the Amsterdam Museum is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at one of the many bike rental shops near Utrecht Central Station. Cycle towards Amsterdam, following the designated bike paths. The distance is about 35 kilometers, which should take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Once in Amsterdam, navigate towards Amstel 51, where the Amsterdam Museum is located.
Walking
If you are already in Amsterdam, you can walk to the Amsterdam Museum from nearby attractions. For instance, from Dam Square, head southeast on Damstraat, then turn left onto Kalverstraat. Continue straight until you reach the Amstel River, then turn right onto Amstel. The museum will be at Amstel 51.
