Public Transport
If you're starting from Utrecht Central Station, take the Intercity train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk to the bus terminal located just outside the main entrance. Take bus number 18 towards 'Zuid' and get off at the 'Artis' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Micropia. Head east on Plantage Kerklaan, and the museum will be on your left at number 38-40.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike at Utrecht Central Station. Follow the signs towards the 'Marnixstraat' route which leads you to Amsterdam. It’s approximately a 40-minute ride. Once you reach Amsterdam, head towards Artis Zoo and follow the signs to Micropia. The museum is located at Plantage Kerklaan 38-40, just a short distance from the zoo.

Walking from Amsterdam Central Station to Micropia is also an option if the weather is pleasant. It will take you about 30 minutes. Exit the station and head south towards Damrak. Follow this road until you reach the Waterlooplein. From there, continue east on Plantage Kerklaan for about 1 kilometer. Micropia will be on your left at number 38-40.
