From Utrecht Central Station, take the intercity train towards Amsterdam Central Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the front exit to the busy square. From there, you can take tram number 2 or tram number 12 towards 'Amsterdam Zuid'. Get off at the 'Museumplein' stop. The Stedelijk Museum is located at Museumplein 10, just a short walk from the tram stop. Follow the signs for the museum, and you will see the building in front of you.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a bike rental shop in Utrecht. Head towards the 'Vredenburg' square and follow the signs to Amsterdam. The ride to Amsterdam takes about 45-60 minutes, depending on your speed. Upon reaching Amsterdam, continue towards the south and follow the signs to Museumplein. The Stedelijk Museum is located right at Museumplein 10, easily recognizable by its modern architecture.

Walking from Utrecht to Amsterdam is quite a long journey, approximately 45 km and would take around 9 hours.
