If you're driving from Volendam to the Rembrandt Monument in Amsterdam, start by heading south on the N518 road. Continue for about 20 minutes until you reach the N247. Merge onto the N247. After approximately 10 minutes, take the exit towards A10 (Ring Amsterdam) and merge onto A10. Follow the signs towards Amsterdam-Centrum and take the exit for S100. Once you exit, follow signs for Centrum. You will arrive at Rembrandtplein 28, where the monument is located. There is limited parking in the area, so look for parking garages nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the Rembrandt Monument using public transportation from Volendam, walk to the Volendam bus station and take bus line 110 towards Amsterdam. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at Amsterdam Centraal Station. From there, you can either take tram line 4 or 14 from the station, heading towards the direction of Rembrandtplein. After a few stops, you will get off at the Rembrandtplein stop, which is right next to the monument. The Rembrandt Monument is located at Rembrandtplein 28.
