From Zaanse Schans, head south on Zaanweg toward Krommenie, and continue to follow signs for N8. Merge onto the A8 highway. After approximately 10 km, take exit 1 toward Amsterdam-Centrum. Continue onto the S100, then turn left onto Prins Hendrikkade. The Basilica of Saint Nicholas will be on your right at Prins Hendrikkade 73. Parking is limited in the area, so look for nearby parking garages which may have fees.

From Zaanse Schans, walk to the Zaanse Schans train station. Take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station; the journey takes about 17 minutes. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the station onto Stationsplein. Walk east on Prins Hendrikkade for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Basilica of Saint Nicholas at Prins Hendrikkade 73.

From Zaanse Schans, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 391 towards Amsterdam. Get off at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk station. From there, transfer to tram line 26 towards Amsterdam Centraal. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Centraal, exit the tram and walk east along Prins Hendrikkade for approximately 10 minutes to reach the Basilica of Saint Nicholas at Prins Hendrikkade 73.
