Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head southeast towards the Damrak. Continue walking along Damrak until you reach Dam Square. From there, walk towards the Rokin street and then turn left onto the Nieuwmarkt street. Keep walking straight until you reach the Nieuwmarkt square. The Bredero-monument is located at the center of the square.

If you are near Amsterdam Central Station, take tram line 4, 9, or 14 from the station towards the direction of the 'Nieuwmarkt' stop. The tram ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes. Once you get off at Nieuwmarkt, walk through the square, and you will find the Bredero-monument in the center.
