If you're driving from Zaanse Schans, head south on the N518 towards Zaandam. Merge onto the A8 highway towards Amsterdam. Continue on the A10 ring road and follow the signs for Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Take the exit towards S112 and merge onto the S112. Follow signs for Centrum and continue onto the Muntplein. From Muntplein, take a right onto the Reguliersbreestraat, and then a left onto the Herengracht. Continue straight until you reach the Begijnhof on your left at Begijnhof 29.

To reach Begijnhof from Zaanse Schans using public transport, first take bus 391 from the Zaanse Schans bus stop to Zaandam Station. At Zaandam Station, transfer to a train heading to Amsterdam Central Station. Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, exit the station and walk to the tram stop located outside. Take tram number 4 or 14 to the Spui stop. From there, walk south on the Spui street, then turn right onto the Korte Spui. Continue straight until you see the entrance to Begijnhof on your left at Begijnhof 29.
