If you're driving from Zaanse Schans, start by heading southeast on the N516 road. Continue for about 14 kilometers. Take the exit towards Edam/Volendam and merge onto the N247. Follow the signs for Volendam. Once in Volendam, navigate to Slobbeland. The Palingsound Museum is located at Slobbeland 19, which you can find easily using GPS or road signs.

To reach the Palingsound Museum via public transport, start at Zaanse Schans and take bus line 391 towards Volendam. The bus departs from the main bus stop near the attractions.
