From Zaanse Schans, head southeast on Zaanse Schansweg toward A8. Merge onto A8 and continue on this route for about 10 km. Take the exit onto A10 toward Amersfoort/Amsterdam-Zuidoost. After around 5 km, take exit 2 toward Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Continue on N522 and follow signs for Ouderkerk. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto Ouderkerkerplas. You will find Picknick Ouderkerk ad Amstel on your left.

From Zaanse Schans, walk to the Koog-Zaandijk Station (approximately 15 minutes). Take the train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station (around 20 minutes). From there, transfer to metro line 50 towards Gein. Get off at Bijlmer Arena Station. Here, switch to bus line 144 towards Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. Alight at the 'Ouderkerkerplas' stop, which is a short walk from Picknick Ouderkerk ad Amstel.
