From Zaanse Schans, head south on the N8 road. Follow the signs for the A8 motorway towards Amsterdam. Merge onto the A10 ring road and then take the exit for the A9 motorway towards Amstelveen. Continue on the A9 until you reach exit 5 for Amstelveen. Follow the signs for Amsteldijk Noord. Wester-Amstel will be located at Amsteldijk Noord 55, 1183 TE Amstelveen. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee.

From Zaanse Schans, walk to the nearest bus stop (Zaanse Schans, Zaans Museum). Take bus line 391 towards Amstelveen. Get off at 'Amstelveen, Amsteldijk Noord' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Wester-Amstel (about 5 minutes). The bus ticket will cost approximately €5.50 one-way.

Combination of Public Transportation and Walking
Start at Zaanse Schans and take a bus (line 391) from the Zaans Museum stop to Amstelveen. Transfer at Amstelveen, Busstation and take tram line 51 towards South. Get off at 'Zuid' station, then transfer to metro line 52 towards Noord. Get off at 'Amstelveen, Amsteldijk Noord'. Wester-Amstel is a short walk from there (5 minutes). The total cost for the public transport journey will be approximately €8.
