Car
If you're driving from Zaanse Schans to the Rembrandt Monument in Amsterdam, head southeast on Zaanse Schans road towards the N8. Merge onto the N8 and continue to follow the signs for A8 towards Amsterdam. After about 15 km, take the exit toward S116. Continue following the S116, which will take you into the city. Once you reach the center, park in one of the nearby parking garages like 'Q-Park Europarking' or 'Parkeergarage Bijenkorf'. From there, walk towards Rembrandtplein; it’s a 10-minute stroll. Look for the prominent square and the monument will be there.
Public Transportation
To reach the Rembrandt Monument using public transportation, first, head to the nearest bus stop in Zaanse Schans. Take bus number 391 or 392 towards Amsterdam. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at 'Amsterdam, Centraal Station'. From the station, you can either take a tram (line 4, 9, or 14) towards 'Rembrandtplein' or walk about 20 minutes through the city center. If you choose to walk, exit the station and head south towards Damrak, then continue onto Rokin street until you reach Rembrandtplein. The monument is located in the middle of the square.
