From Zaanse Schans, get onto the N8 road towards Amsterdam. Follow the signs for A8 motorway. Merge onto A8 and then onto A10, the ring road around Amsterdam. Take exit 14 toward S112/Amsterdam-Centrum and continue on S112. Follow the signs for Amsterdam-Centrum. Once you reach the city center, look for signs leading to 1018 AB. Scharrebiersluis will be on your right.

Start at Zaanse Schans and walk to the bus stop at Zaanse Schans (Zaanse Schans, Zaanse Schans). Take bus line 391 towards Amsterdam, which will take you to Amsterdam Central Station. From Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and walk south on Stationsplein. Turn right onto the Damrak and continue until you reach the intersection with Rokin. From Rokin, turn left and walk towards 1018 AB. Scharrebiersluis will be on your left.
