If you are driving, head towards Zaanse Schans using the A8 and then the N203. Once you arrive in Zaanse Schans, look for parking options. There is a designated parking area near the entrance of Zaanse Schans. After parking, walk towards the main entrance of the open-air museum and follow the signs to The Dancing Houses, which are visible from various points within the village.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train from Amsterdam Central Station to Koog-Zaandijk station. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 17 minutes. Once you arrive at Koog-Zaandijk, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take bus 391 towards Zaanse Schans. The bus ride will take about 5 minutes. Get off at the Zaanse Schans stop. From there, it’s a short walk to The Dancing Houses; follow the path towards the main area of Zaanse Schans, and you will see the houses along the waterway.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Amsterdam and take the scenic route to Zaanse Schans. Follow the designated bike paths which will take you through beautiful landscapes. The ride is approximately 20 kilometers and will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Zaanse Schans, there are bike racks available for you to park your bicycle. Walk towards the center of the village and you will easily find The Dancing Houses along the canals.
