Car
If you are driving from Zaanse Schans to Waalseilandsgracht in Amsterdam, take the N8 road towards Amsterdam. After about 15 km, follow the signs for A10 towards Amsterdam-Centrum. Once on the A10, take exit S114 towards Centrum. Continue on S114, which becomes Wibautstraat, and follow the signs for the city center. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto Sarphatistraat, then right onto Amstel, and finally, follow the road as it curves left and turns into Waalseilandsgracht. Parking in Amsterdam can be expensive, so look for P+R (Park and Ride) facilities if you plan to stay for a while.

To reach Waalseilandsgracht from Zaanse Schans using public transportation, take the bus from Zaanse Schans to Zaandam Station (Bus 391). From Zaandam Station, catch a train to Amsterdam Central Station (approximately 17 minutes). Once you arrive at Amsterdam Central, transfer to tram 4, 14, or 24 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Zeedijk' stop and walk towards the Amstel River, where you will find Waalseilandsgracht.
