Walking
If you're starting from Amsterdam Central Station, exit the station and head south towards the IJ River. Walk towards the rear of the station and take the exit onto the street. Continue straight onto De Ruijterkade, then turn left onto the street called Prins Hendrikkade. After about 500 meters, you will reach the Dam Square. From Dam Square, head towards the Rokin street, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Nieuwmarkt. Turn right onto Nieuwmarkt, and the Bredero-monument will be directly ahead at the square, identifiable by its unique statue.

Tram
From Amsterdam Central Station, take tram number 4, 14, or 24 towards 'Zuid' and get off at the 'Nieuwmarkt' stop. After disembarking, walk straight ahead towards the square, and you will find the Bredero-monument located in the center of Nieuwmarkt.

If you are near the Rokin metro station, take the metro line 52 (Noord/Zuid line) towards 'Noord'. Get off at 'Nieuwmarkt' station. After exiting the station, head towards the Nieuwmarkt square, and the Bredero-monument will be visible as you approach the square.
